A plain boiled egg tastes of very little. Watch the timing in the rice cooker so it comes out just done — even with the yolk not quite set, which is no bad thing. Peel, halve, arrange on a plate, add a little salad cream, a small pinch of Salted Shallot Crisps and some pork floss, and you have something genuinely nourishing with almost no effort.
