Made from the fat of specially raised, carefully controlled enzyme-fed pigs, rendered slowly over a low flame in the traditional way. The aroma is deep and the lard itself is a clean, fresh white.
Our process produces a lard well beyond the water-rendered kind, both in keeping quality and in the aroma it carries.
We keep it natural and pure, with no chemical additives of any sort: no drug residues, no porky off-note, low acid value and low total polar compounds.
